Can you attend the inspection?
Yes by all means, we really basically insist that you or someone you trust do attend. Most Home inspections by their very nature cover a trememdous amount of information, so much so that the reports are not capable of giving you all of the information that the inspector offers you. It is very typical of clients to say to me I am sure glad I took the time to participate on this inspection. You not only get information as to any repair items commonly called defects but how your home functions plus you see the amount of work we do on your behalf.
What does an inspection cover?
Inspections are designed to cover items that would typically be expensive to repair. Inspections also typically cover many smaller items to benefit you in doing maintenance to help prolong the life and function of your property.
How long does it take from the time we call you till we can expect to set the appointment for?
Usually we can set the inspection up for within a week of the call but sometimes do to demand it could be as much as two weeks but this is not usually typical. There has been times in the past where I have needed to do as many as 4 inspections per day to fit everyone in but this is quite demanding on me and I would now recommend one of the other inspectors I have trained or assisted with starting their businesses to assist you if this were the case.
